The Division of Health Policy and Management offers four academic degrees, as well as a program for long term care administration licensure. For a detailed description and application information for a program, click its name below.

Master’s in Healthcare Administration
Prepares graduates for leadership positions in the health care delivery sector

Master’s in Public Health Administration and Policy
Prepares leaders for a variety of tasks ensuring the health of populations and communities

Master’s in Health Services Research, Policy and Administration
Prepares graduates for successful data analysis careers in public and private sectors

Doctorate in Health Services Research, Policy and Administration
Designed for students interested in academic careers or senior research positions in government or the private sector

Which of These Degrees Is Right for You?

The Division also offers courses leading to Minnesota licensure in long term care administration through its Center for Aging Services Management.

Long Term Care Administration Licensure
Designed for people with at least a baccalaureate degree who are seeking licensure as a nursing home administrator or long term care manager in Minnesota

Dual Degree Programs

The Division of Health Policy and Management offers several collaborative degrees in association with other programs at the University of Minnesota.
