Regulating Long-Term Care The LTC Resource Center has had a long-standing interest in regulation and quality assurance for all types of long-term care in all locations. With funding from the Hulda and Maurice Rothschild Foundation, we assembled all nursing home regulations of the 50 states and the District of Columbia on a searchable website, and have presented comparative analyses of how States handle almost 100 topics in their nursing home regulations. The website is a platform for research the University of Minnesota is are currently undertaking to suggest model regulations compatible with culture change towards individualized services and resident quality of life in nursing homes.
