"Where is the Political and Economic Leadership to Balance Health Gain and Health Care?"

In an era of increasing demands for care and unequal access to resources for health and health care, how must global health sector leaders best anticipate and prepare for the tensions and collisions of several bi-polar challenges: frail older adults with fewer children and young children born to teenagers; the twin burdens of chronic and communicable diseases; emergency preparedness for natural disasters and bio-terrorism; equitable access to private and public health insurance; starvation and obesity; potable water, drought and floods.
