Director of Nurses Requirements for the State of New Hampshire

He-P 803.03 Personnel and Staffing

(k) The nursing department shall be under the supervision of a director of nursing. The director of nursing shall be a registered nurse currently licensed in the state of New Hampshire pursuant to RSA 326-B and have at least 1 year of experience in long term care.

(l) There shall be at least 1 licensed nurse per shift every day and staffing adequate to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being of each resident.
