Medical Director Requirements for the State of Alabama

420-5-10-.03 Administrative Management.

(21) Medical director. The facility must designate a physician to serve as medical director.

(22) The medical director is responsible for:

(a) Implementation of resident care policies; and

(b) The coordination of medical care in the facility.
