Gordon Mosser is an Associate Professor in the Division of Health Policy and Management. His teaching and research interests are health care quality improvement, leadership, teamwork, organizational behavior, and evidence-based health care.

Dr. Mosser joined the Division in 2006 after 30 years in clinical practice and health care management. From 1993 to 2006, he was the founding president of the Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement, a state-wide collaboration of medical groups and hospitals working together to improve health care in Minnesota. Prior to that time, he practiced general internal medicine and held various management positions in medical groups and health plans.

He trained in internal medicine at the University of Minnesota (1973-76) and is board-certified. He also served as a research fellow in epidemiology and statistics in the Department of Social and Community Medicine, Oxford University (1977-78).
